"My biggest spending regret is actually lots of little regrets!

I got into debt by constantly tapping the credit card with little things I wanted, without even having a slight idea about my budget. After years of this it just spiralled out of control.

I actually used to think that my available balances on my credit cards were mine to spend (I’m so embarrassed by that thought now!) it soon added up to over £18,000.

Fast forward to now and I have a working budget that I check in with everyday, my debt is going down, savings are going up and I feel much more in control.And I no longer believe my credit allowance is mine to spend!!"

❓ What happened for you to be in your current debt situation?

"A few things happened for me to be in my situation, firstly the fact I was uneducated  to personal finance. I also didn't budget and used to spend money without knowing what was coming in and going out. Basically lots of overspending every month."
