Meet the team: Kian

Everyone has a "why" behind what they do. For me, it’s about stepping into the customer’s shoes - I would hate to deliver a mediocre product or experience. Fintech, in particular, has the opportunity to make a huge difference in people’s lives. I know I’ll personally have to make some big financial decisions myself, so, I’m building that future - not just for me, but for others like me.

I’ve always been inspired by people who obsess over using technology to create better experiences. Fintech has always excited me. It’s come a long way, but there’s still a huge chunk of the sector that is wrapped in jargon and gatekept by legacy players. That creates real barriers for the people who need it most. Something so central to everyday life should be far more accessible, and built with the end user in mind.

Over the years, I’ve worked across fintech, edtech, and web3 - driven by a deep passion for technology and scaling new products. During my time at London Business School, I had the opportunity to meet incredible operators, win the school’s annual hackathon, and refine my ambition to take a startup from 0 to 1.

So when I spoke to Yas about Incredible - their journey, the technology, and the impact they were making - it was a no-brainer. We’re working towards a fairer financial ecosystem, by building an automated repayment platform for borrowers and lenders.

I joined Incredible to work across Product & Growth, because I believe great products and great marketing go hand in hand. I'm excited to keep growing into a role that bridges both.

It's been great speaking with some of you - your feedback has helped us improve the app’s design, make it easier to use, and support more people. Ultimately, I really want us to build a product that helps as many people as possible. So if you’ve received one too many emails from us… now you know why!
