I'm Martín Granados García and I'm a co-founder and a founding engineer of Incredible. Much like everyone, I've experienced how difficult managing credit card debt can be. Naturally, when I first heard about Incredible's mission, it immediately clicked.

I've been building things like: products, startups, apps, podcasts, etc. for almost a decade. I've built a lot of software at both big tech companies and small startups. I've always wanted to work with and around technology.

The most satisfying part of it all is hearing from your users when something you've built resonates with them and helps make their lives easier.

Knowing that what we build makes a real difference in peoples lives is very satisfying. Something that empowers people to take back control of their finances. I am a big believer that money should be an instrument allowing people to build stuff, to secure their future, to work their way through ambitions, it should not be this dark mysterious entity that actually limits you and keeps you constrained.

I studied Computer Science back in México at the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Puebla, there I met some incredible (sic) colleagues and friends, if anything other than database knowledge and compilers, I also got the entrepreneurial bug. A bug that would affect me for the rest of my professional career and it's the reason why I've always gravitated towards startups so much.

I've worked at some great companies building fintech products in Mexico (LATAM) and the consumer marketplaces in USA. But some years ago I met Yas through some Uni friends and he talked me through what Incredible was aiming to be. A few weeks later (literally) I took an 11 hour flight to London, hopped on the Piccadilly Line and haven't looked back ever since.

Whilst it's still day 1 at Incredible, it's been one of the most challenging things I've done. Building great products is hard. Building a great product that helps people even more so. I'm now used to higher highs and lower lows and generally its easier to manage with the right people around. Seeing and being part of the wider startup/founder community in London has also been awesome. Looking forward to continuing our mission to provide people with better tools to manage one of life's most difficult things - Money.
